Find and address the source
If contaminated porous materials remain, fragrance, fogging, or surface deodorizing alone may not solve the problem.
Materials can hold odor
Carpet padding, upholstery, subflooring, unfinished wood, drywall, fabrics, and other porous materials can absorb contamination and odor.
Odor is part of the cleanup scope
Once source materials are addressed and affected surfaces are cleaned, residual odor can be treated as part of the overall remediation process.
